Guest Speaker "Wetlands: Now and Forever?"

Everyone is invited to a free speaker.

On Tuesday, March 20, Mary Gerstenberger will be presenting, ”Wetlands: Now and Forever?” at 7:00 p.m. in the Donald Dodge Auditorium of the St. Clair County Administration Building.  Her presentation will explain how wetlands are defined, what types of wetlands we find in Michigan, their functions and .importance, and how to protect them.

Mary received her degree in Biology from Wayne State University, took time out to raise a family and then spent 20 years working for MSU Extension in Macomb County.  During that time she worked with the Great Lakes Education Program, 4-H, served as Environmental Education Coordinator and then as Consumer Horticulture Coordinator.  She retired in December of 2017.

Master Gardeners of St. Clair County will conduct their monthly business meeting following the presentation.
